R50/53 Recharging a/c refrigerant on 05 S?
Recharging a/c refrigerant on 05 S?
It's blowing ambient air. The problem is I can't locate where to refill plus the a/c refill that I have brings "stop leak technology."
The car is still under warranty but if I can do it in 15 minutes it's better than taking the car to the dealer and having them spend the whole day fixing it.

Thanks for the reply. Can't believe it took so long for someone to reply. This forum must be dead.
Where can I locate the a/c under the hood? I have a gauge to check the pressure but I can't see the condenser. Where is it?
THanks

If you can't find the condenser, and can't find the A/C connections, I'm not trying to be a schmart **** here, but I suggest you not try to do this yourself.
You certainly do not want to try to save some time doing it yourself and messing it up and potentially getting your warrantied voided... just bite the bullet, take some paper work or your laptop along and get some work done while they are fixing your leak properly. You'll be glad you did.

I annotated an image and attached it. Hope it helps.

And if somehow you hooked your gauge to the high side, then all sorts of bad things can happen.
That said I find that the Mini comes with a short charge and many times it only needs a bit of Freon to bring the system to a place where it works on hot days. But you said yours is blowing ambient temps. In that case, trust me, you are best leaving it to someone with the right tools and experience.
