Reliable Mechanic/Shop in San Francisco Bay Area

Hi All,

Just wondering if the SF bay area NAM community had any local independent mini service shops/mechanics that are reliable/trust worthy. I just fell out of my warranty about a year ago and paying the dealership service costs is racking up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. im looking at a inspection 2 service coming up :/ Thank you all!

I've had some work done by German Motor Specialists in Sunnyvale. They came well recommended and seem quite competent.

Not the cheapest, but the best....you won't be disappointed. But yes, much less than the dealer. The good thing is, as something goes wrong or needs attention, the dealer will put back factory parts. BBM will recommend a better aftermarket piece, that's cheaper but will improve overall performance!! Well worth the drive!

thanks for the great responses everyone. I'll have to check them out! I've been a little disappointed in the SA's at the dealerships so i though i'd try elsewhere.
