Newbie!

I just bought a 2006 Cooper Checkmate edition.

A few questions that I am hoping you guys can help with:

1. How do you work the phone controls on the steering wheel?

2. How do you program the remote buttons on the rearview mirror?

Thanks for the help!!

Blaine

remote buttons on mirror should be in manual and more than likely the steering wheel phone controls don't do anything... it was a very expensive option for bluetooth on most people didn't purchase it. There are aftermarket ideas for the wheel; search mfsw bluetooth and you should get some answers.

here is the link if you are interested to spend $450.http://www.bimmernav.com/store/catal...-item-119.html
the phone buttons on the steering wheels is useless unless you hook up with this kit. and to prog. the remote opener is very easy, just follow the instruction list in the owner's manual.
happy motoring now.

Thanks for the help! I will look into the kit and refer to the manual for programming instructions for the remote butons. Only 1 week into Mini motoring, but already having a blast! My twin brother is to blame. He's got a 2004 MCS.
