How do I reset the brake warning light in a 04 MCS?

Thanks in advance.

1. You must first replace the worn sensor. The brake sensors are a consumable. It activates by wearing thru a loop in the wire. Alternately you can remove the sensor from the wheel, cut it open and splice the ends together. Then zip-tie the sensor out of the way....but note, you no longer have a working sensor. Either way - you first need to close the open circuit caused by the worn sensor.

2. THEN, turn the the key to 'position 2' but don't start the car. Sit like this for 30 seconds and the system should reset. (this was included on the MiniMania listing for the sensor....others have said it works fine)
