This saturday at the gulf greyhound park is going to be my first autocross!!! Can't wait!!! Yes yes yes, I know the JCW puts my car in a terrible category but since I'm a newbie anyway, i'm just their to learn to drive better and have fun. Any tips for a complete newbie?

Probably jack up the tire pressures. I'd start at 38 front, 43 rear then play from there. With full tread tires you may get some strong understeer. Just try to be smooth and don't force the car into doing something it can't. You'll find that many will be happy to help you with advice. Almost the most important thing is WALK THE COURSE. Watch others run, notice lines and brake points. Remember your fwd so watch the other fwd cars... HAVE FUN!!!!
