Is there a Mini Cooper out there that has a sound system in the trunk and a brembo big brake kit. Please send me pictures I really need them.

HMM. This is like my little private section, since no one takes pictures of their minis.

 

I've seen pics of both items on here and MINI2. If you do a thread search you should be able to find something. Also, it might help if you detailed what kind of system you were looking for.

I think you would get more info if you would give us a little more info.

You have a Cooper and you wish to add a sound system which includes items in the boot. You are also interested in the Brembo Brake kit for the front. And you want to see what it looks like.

A few details would help- Did you have in mind for the boot one of the following:
A custom sub and amp enclosure?
A stock Sub enclosure like the JL stealthbox? But that would need an additional amp in the boot.
A powered sub enclosure like the Infinity BassLink?
Something thing else I did think of.
Are you keep the stock headunit, the stock front and rear speakers?

For the brakes- Brembo for the fronts and what for the rears? You can't keep them stock. You have to upgrade them as well if you plan to have optimal braking. Alta makes a rear brake upgrade kit for less than $360.

I'm curious as to why you need photo's of a MINI with both? Won't photos of a number of cars do? Say, photo's of cars with the Brembos and photos of cars with the sound system? How could you see both items in one photo any way? Perhaps clarification of this issue might yeild better results from the MCO members.

I think the intent was that both big brakes and a sound system upgrade were being planned for an MC and that those who owned such a combination might post some pictures. I own observation is that while there may be a handful of MC owners with a custom audio upgrade there might be only a rare one with a big brake kit installed. Having both? I don't know if we can track this person down anytime soon.

Big Brake kit fundamentals...

Moral of the story? Do lots of reading. Figure out just what you plan to do with your MINI. Street, track, autocross?
Build your brakes for looks or function-you decide. Determine a budget- even a stage one upgrade is gonna cost up to $1000+ by the time you are done. Plan on maintaining those brakes each year.

I think ur missing the point, sorry i must of explained it wrong. I need pictures of ONE mini that has both a big brake kit on it as well as a custom sound system in the trunk (amp and subs, prob fiberglassed and stuff).

Im trying to prove my friend wrong, he thinks he has the only mini in the world that has both, and I need to prove him wrong.

OK, this is what you should have posted in the beginning which is why we asked you for more details and clarification.

So you just want a picture of a MC that has both brembo and custom audio taking up space in the rear boot.
I can tell you that in my area this doesn't exist. Why? Because the people that do upgrades like that race (use the brembos, not just for looks) and the people that do the big custom audio upgrades tend to buy MCS and not MC.
The exception to the rule may be a person or company that has selected an MC to do a "Show Car" in which case they would be adding big brakes and a big show audio/video upgrade.

So here is how you should look. Post a request for anyone that know about or has a picture of a Cooper that has Brembo brakes and a custom audio upgrade that incorporates changes in the boot to post or send you pictures/

In the club forum section of MCO do the same posts to ask for help from them to look for anyone that has done this.
There might be someone that belongs to a local club that is not on MCO that fullfills those things. We just don't know about it. I don't think you will find pictures here for that combination but you are well come to look through the gallery. I think that the best place to look is on MINI2.com because they are people from the UK where the MINI ONE and MC are big sellers and more people have them. However when I was in the UK not long ago I did not see very many MINIs that had any mods on them- I guess the cars are already so expensive that most people just drive them as is. Also in the UK the MINI dealership gives many audio options that are not available in the US so few do the custom audio route.

For people that race MC they often race in the stock classes and don't want to change to a big brake because you need to also change the wheels to 17" which means you have to leave the stock class and jump up to a more competitive class.
Hence the only persons with Brembos in a MC would be for looks or a show car and a very big budget for upgrades.
