The MINI capital of the world?

It's gotta be Boston / Boston area. I was driving around Cambridge, MA and counted 12 MINIs parked on the street within 1 mile radius. I could not believe it. Then, I was driving through Newbury Street on Boston and saw more MINIs than Honda Civics... I stopped counting after seeing so many...

Nope, we've got you beat!

That would be Miami, FL

On any good day I see 50-70 MINIs. On the weekends I see at least 3-4 classics.

We have 5 dealers in a 70 mile radius. Miami is the largest or second largest MINI market in the country.

Y'all can have your MINIs

On a good day, I might see 2 other MINIs. I like being "different". Who wants to be 'just another car'? How many Camrys and Accords can you count in one day?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Keep Motorin'

You should take a trip to Europe before such a snap judgement is made. Its like the Mrs. Universe pageant but all contestants are from earth only

Yes sir

I agree 100% with your comments. Down here we MINI owners are a dime dozen Way too many of us. We are the "new civics"

It is refreshing when we get out of South Florida and people start pointing again and our MINI

Its only "just another car", if yours looks like the others. I see MINIs all the time, but I would never put mine in the same class as the others I see.

Hey can you take some pics of MINIs in Kuwait?

There are not that many photos of MINIs in the streets of the middle east

Sure, I've been saying I was gonna start using my camera more often..as a matter of fact, I can do you one better...I'm trying to get in contact with Marketing department at BMW here to sponsor a "meet & greet" for MINIs here. I will definitely take photos if I can make that happen. (....fingers crossed....)

I'm American But, I watch these guys do it all the time with cars you wouldn't even expect! I even join in when I drive my Marauder. The favorite seems to be Nissan though, why I don't know 280z's, skyline's, hell, even Nissan Patrol SUVs!!!
Racing is a lifestyle out here. I want to come home but you get to "DRIVE" your cars out here

Hong Kong is up there with MINIs as well. But living in Boston, if you go into the Beacon Hill area at the residential parking streets. Atleast 5 MINIs per block.

I have never been to that part of the world, but for what I have seen, those countries have amazing roads and some of those put our old/poorly maintained interstates to shame

Funny you say that, in Kuwait, the only roads they maintain are the highways, the city streets are ridiculous with potholes and such. Now Dubai has awesome roads, and so does Bahrain. I love both of those places. I'll be in Dubai next weekend for a Tiesto concert. I snap pics of any MINIs I see

No it is not. We are no longer the best at everything. We have problems just like everyone else. We are not as rich as we would like to think we are. We have to clean our house first in order to regain the credibility and respect from our worldly neighboors.

Oh yeah London..... Haven't been upthere since 2001. Was planning to go to MINI UNITED this year, but wife and I decided to go to Alaska instead so we compromised but what a nice compromise nevertheless

Hopefully next year for our 10th anniversary. Our honeymooon was spent in Paris and our 1st year wedding anniversary on a 2 week trip across Europe and that included the UK as the starting point.

I have seen mostly pics of Dubai, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

In South America, highways/expressways are well kept but city streets look like the face of the moon

PS: My wife and I are huge TIESTO fans!
