Ok I know this technically belongs in the Mexican regional forum, but I figured I'd share with everyone on MCO what a Mexican MINI Club event looks like!
A few weeks ago the Mexican MINI Club organized a race day at the famed Pegaso Racetrack near Toluca, Mexico and we had about 35 cars in attendance, including a few classic Minis.
The event was fantastic, we tore up the racetrack and had a blast pushing our cars to the limit. The Pegaso Racetrack was kind enough to send over a professional racing instructor to give us a few pointers and make sure everyone knew what they were doing. The event was extensively covered in the newspaper and in upcoming car magazines, and MINI recieved a lot of positive exposure.
There were a few JCW kit equipped cars at the event, one belonged to Bavaria Motors who were kind enough to lend it out to curious Club Members for a run through the track...lots of fun.. :smile:
