I am VERY exited being that this is my first vehicle that i have purchased by myself. Calling it your own is something...else

Very good. I think that the blue is called Indi blue- at least that is what it says on my car in the engine compartment.

2nds, 3rds, and 4ths to the above. Definitely help yourself while waiting by purusing accessories. Glovebox organizer, console insert, zaino products ready to apply when it comes...those were things that helped me through the wait. I even put the GBO (the one Alan Tate makes; see threads) on my dining room table and considered I at least had part of my Mini with me already.

Hi 2perCooper, welcome to MCO! Hanging out here definitely is a good way to keep your sanity (...or lose it gracefully) while you're waiting. You'll want to study up on initial MINI acquisitions and detailing supplies for your baby, so have fun!!!!!

The wait is a bit hard at times, but i just picked up one of those micro r/c cars (mini cooper of course) from Toys R Us and i have been playing with it constantly

Also, i go to the Mini dealership every two weeks, just to ease the pain by driving around the demo car.

Next step, buy the "essential" accessories.
