My father and I are replacing the clutch, changing the oil, replacing the control arm and bushings this weekend. I couldn't get my hands on the Bentley Repair Manual quick enough (I only had a week to locate all parts and tools.) I was hoping there was someone on the San Francisco Peninsula that I could borrow the book from. I'd pick it up Saturday morning, and return it Sunday night.

Is anyone kind enough to help me out?

Well I could use some warmer weather; wanna send me out to Cali? I could visit my God-mother in Half Moon Bay and I'd be happy to bring my Bentley book and help!

As it turns out, after looking over the Bentley book, my father decided a day and half was just not long enough to do everything I had planned. So there's a two week delay, plenty of time to buy my own book.

Miminut- you had the cleanest Bentley book ever. We tend to dirty ours up (well, actually I don't, I like things clean, but others in my family don't seem to follow that philosophy.)
When I returned the book, I was admiring your Mini, where did you get your window tinting done? Have you been pulled over for having your front windows tinted?

 

Never been pulled over in the Mini,period. The Tinting came with the car. I bought it used but I know the tinting was done at East Bay Mini. If you look closely you will notice a Lunate section of tint at the top of the windshield,really helps when headed into the sun. The Sun Roof is also tinted.
