Very nice MINI! Welcome to NAM.
Was the "S" missing or did you remove it from the Cooper on the rear? Having seen many Greek MINIs (and other vehicles) I noticed they have subtle differences from their North American counterparts. Just curious.

I thought the R50 was normally-aspirated (not super-charged).
Anyway, very nice looking ride.

 

Did you add the Cooper S exhaust and bonnet?

 

Is that Jet Black solid or Black Eye Pea metallic (aka Astro Black metallic in the US market).

Looks like a "facelift" 2005 R53 Cooper S.

Differences between Euro and US market R53 S:

Missing side lights on wheel arches

Speedo calibrated in Km/h

High beam lights indicator located on speedo (On northamerican models is located in the tach)

Different packages (Pepper Pack, Salt Pack, Chili Pack instead of sport, premium and cold packs)

Warranty is often 2 years or 24K miles whichever occurs first. TLC is often extra.

Different trim options like leather/cloth seats. Leatherette was never offered in Europe.

front passenger airbag can be turn on and off via key lock slot inside the glovebox compartment.

Factory stereo may differ from the factory systems (Alpine) offered in NA spec MINIs.

In Euro spec MINIs A/C and side curtain airbags are sold as extras and not included as standard like in N/A spec MINIs.

 

They never let you configure one with a black roof and white wheels here, that looks really good.

 

Are you sure it's an R-50? it has an R-53 hood(with the intake "bulge"/scoop in the center), and also the exhaust is exiting in the center. However, it only has "one ball", I wonder if all the Euro R-53's come with a "one ball" exhaust from factory.

 

Looks like it is a R50 Cooper with bumper covers, bonnet and center exhaust from a R53 S.

However, it is impossible to add a center exhaust in a R50 Cooper unless the spare tire is moved and taken out.

I am really not understanding this car. Is it a factory R50 Cooper, or a R53 Cooper S clone?

it is an R50 2002 .... with r53 parts: bonnet, bumpers (front is from aero kit), side skirts, exaust (modified in one ball) ... spare tires in luggage!!!
side repeters grill are r53 modified wirhout "S"..... but i'm waiting for shark grill
Also have xenon headlights from restyling mini. Rear lights are not originale lexus style.
Interior leather black and stereo Alpine ida x300
White wheels are original 7x17 et 48 with pacers 16mm front and rear
