I have a May 2003 delivery, that now has about 7K on it. To date, no problems - with one minor exception. I took it in to have the windows looked at becuase they squeaked going up/down. I got a BMW 328xi, silver, black leather, 3300mi.... Yeah, its not too bad when your Mini has to go in (as long as its not too often)...

the mini's build quality might not be perfect, but... if you fitted a camry with the equivalent of the minis suspension and some runflats, it would develop some rattles, too.
