It seems every thread now contains some form of anger directed at someone else. Do I keep visiting the wrong threads? Wheres the good ones at?

I can't recall many clean threads. Granted, I've only been on MCO a couple months. But still...

Where's the happiness?

I don't see this thread as a clean thread. You are basically bashing this site. I am not saying that I don't agree with you, but if you want a clean thread, perhaps, that change can begin with you. Start a new thread about something positive that happened today in your MINI.

Don't worry goin440, the negativity that you see here in recent weeks will soon die down and we will return to our regularly scheduled program.

I don't see this as a bash, just an inquiry. We all have our little quirks on MCO, kind of like everywhere else. Yes there is some emotional charged debate, its the fuel that feeds us. Not too many happy, happy, joy, joy threads. Just a bunch of enthusiasts being ourselves.

...until somebody else comes along and starts pissing people off and we repeat the cycle. Human nature...there's no escaping it.

yeah. It wasn't too long ago - when MINIUSA got heavy - people were saying things were bad, but I had just recently come on board and was having a great time. Then maybe things got better, I don't know, I always had fun.

I was still having a great time while others were apparently complaining and getting into tizzies with people they could have just ignored.

I got upset about the actions taken but I'm still having a great time.

Ain't no one going to get ME down! I don't give ANYone the power to ruin my day!

Certainly not due to anything that gets written in a forum, and especially not when there are people, children, women, animals, DYING and being KILLED all over the world!

Well said! Remember, those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

I think it is also easy to misread intent when it is e-mail vs. hearing people talk. Twice I've been joking and people took me literally. I guess that's what the various faces are for. Anyway, I agree that tragedies in life much more important than cars make anything posted seem relatively light to me.

For my part, I am happy to have these forums, with one reason being that it constantly reaffirms to me the number of Mini owners who are nice folks.
