Supersprint Dual Tips Frm BMP

Anyone ever try running these tips on an R53 with a One Ball Mod ? Do they need any additional fabrication to fit ?

or these:

Thanks......

And Answer is:::: Yes, put them on today 11/18/09.

They are to some degree like the original beer can shape, but look more aggressive looking. Had to heat up the OEM pipes and bend them a little to get them facing straight out instead of down to the ground. Then cut both OEM pipes back some.

Removed the excess pipe from the back of the tips leaving the left side pipe shorter than the right side by 3/4 inch. Welded on nicely..........

And the One Ball Mod sounds better today than it did when first completed......Nice rumbling between shifts....

Thanks for the info Longboard.

Those are SWEET! Unfortunately, I have no experience with them. How much are they asking for them?

BMP Designs

PRO MINI is asking 150.00 for the top one's, and I think 245.00 for oval unit..

http://www.promini.com/category-exec...arch_model/100

States on their web site that these fit Supersprint exhaust only, but I was thinking they could be adapted either welded or clamped to OEM or other aftermarket Cat back.

Just wanted to see if anyone had done so before investing....

Sure they can! Any good muffler shop should be able to adapt these to your exhaust. The second one has been a faverite of mine for a long time.

Tips on.........

Added them today........

Came out great. Noticed after the One Ball mod the tips were bit off center, So we fabricated a new hanger to pull the exhaust back into center using 1/4 round hanger rod and the OEM rubber hanger from the old resonator on the pass side. Worked great...
