For pictures just go to the gallery section of MCO and browse through sections. You can see how people have made changes. You might not understand all of the changes but you can examine things at your speed. There are many 100s of images to study.
For really upgraded MINIs you might check out this thread on cars modded via RandyBMC's help.

Hi bulldog_mini and welcome to MCO,
the forum for all things MINI.
I've only done interior mods so far, waiting for under bonnet and suspension mods until I've sorted out the mechanical issues I've had.
Did the dash trim rings in exterior EB, and re-did the silver trim in anthracite, and also lined door pockets in charcoal velvet:

It actually harkins back to the "old days" and the original minis. The yellow blob in between is the "Dragon" sticker. A takeoff of the DOT curvey road ahead sign.
I've got a few more left from the last print run, let me know if you're interested. Quite reasonable as decals go $10 plus shipping.
