I was on the way to the tint place this morning, and someone came around a turn in my lane, so I got some excellent curb rash on the passenger side front wheel. Oh well, back to the positive! Got the windows tinted, and gave the blue beauty a bath today. McBee's tinting on Conestee Road in Greenville, SC did the tinting (for the locals). He tints the windows for the MINI delaership on Laurens Road. He has experience with MINI's as he has done more than 100 at the dealership. He is very professional, and charges an excellent price. $135 for the whole car. I got 18% all around.

ENJOY!!

Ryan, sorry to see pic of your curb damaged new wheel. Tinting looks great.

I love the NAV! We used it to go to Charlotte and pick up a firend from the airport, and I also used it to go to the tint shop. It led me right to it. I didn't think it was a wise decision after the car went into production, but it's very helpful and if we get another MINI, it will definitely have NAV as well.

Ctoe-- That car is looking mighty fine!!! Your wheel scuffing will not be noticed by many... unless they get down on all fours with a sharp camera like yours! The rear side windows look great with the tint hiding all of the blacked out window edges.

This is EXACTLY how we were...thought it would be a waste, but I use it SO much...

Saved!!! Called RSpeed yesterday and my new wheel should be here today. I'll have it put on this afternoon and be motoring with pretty, shiny, unscuffed wheels again by sundown!

Cabbage,
You were a lot smarter than I was. I paid Century to have my tinting done and it was a lot more than $135. Your car looks great, I'll be on the lookout for in around town.

Oh well, thought this was going to be fixed today. RSpeed sent the wrong wheel. They are getting me another tomorrow, so hopefully I will have some closure by tomorrow at sundown.
