67K for me here too..
I normally would get 100K or more from a clutch so we'll see how this stacks up. I make a habit of using it only when necessary.. and I'm VERY good at matching revs.

My original clutch had to be replaced at 32k because of the throwout bearing. The disk was ok and had life, but I upgraded to a Spec stage 2 clutch. That one only lasted 8k before it welded itself to the pressure plate due to a manufacturing defect.
At 42k the tranny went out. The clutch was still fine, but I figured as long as the tranny was out, what the heck: new clutch. Pretty sad when a clutch outlasts a transmission.
Mine was replaced at 32,000 along with a faulty T.O. bearing. MAG MINI was nice enough to replace the clutch & pressure plate at the same time under warranty even though they said both were fine.
So I have 10,000 miles on mine now. It's great seeing that people can get high mileages out of their clutches.

Thanks to all who repiied. All the 100K accounts suggest that the clutch itself is just fine. My guess is that most of the early mileage issues are more related to some "new" drivers that seem to buy Minis or issues with the transmissions themselves.
My MC has 22,300 and is perfect.
My 1997 BMW 318Ti had 150K when I sold it and it had just started to slip.
My 1989 Mazda RX-7 GTUs had 200K and was starting to groan a bit when it took a trip to its new owner out of state.
My 1991 Honda CRX Si had 250K and engaged like new.
Go figure.

Funny you mention this. One of my buddy's dads had an early 90's Civic with probably a quarter billion miles on it with the OE clutch. Apparently it was a little touchy but still worked and would take you where you need to go.

2005 R53 S hardtop:
1st clutch gone at 25K, replaced under warranty, no questions asked. Clutch disc had burn spots and the pedal was hard and had a "fart" sound every time it was depressed.
2nd clutch still holding up mucho better at 45K+ miles. I hope to get another 100K miles out of this one.
Verdict: MINI OEM LuK clutches seem to be pretty much hit and miss in terms of durability. I also noticed that the more you punish the clutch the better it lasts (It you baby it, then the thing simply dies on you).
Love the car. Only major thing that has gone wrong with it.
