Ok, well my pic will be added to this post later, however this is for those with ALOT of checkerboard on and in our Minis.

I have:
Top, stripes, wheel cover, and doorsills

I want to find checkerboard trim to have professionally sewn to my mini luggage.

Antone know where I can get help with that?

Xanthus,
You are the checkerboard extreme specialist.
Here are some ideas. For luggage you need heavy duty equiptment- I'd suggest a specialty store that does luggage repair/shoe repair.
You can find durable checkboard material suitable for luggage at a sewing material supply store- the bigger the better for larger selection. You can try your local arts and crafts center alternatively and maybe even walmart -maybe there will be something. Have the luggage shop do the installation. Ask them if they have done anything like this before. Good luck. Remember you want something heavy duty- luggage takes a beating usually.

I have a ?, do you guys know if they make checkerboard roof for cars that come with a black top? Basically I'm asking if they have the white vinyl decals to stick onto a black roof instead of the black vinyl to stick onto a white roof.

later,

amir

I believe Cooper Flags can do that for you.

I just put a silver checkered top on my black roofed silver MC. (pics are in the other thread)
I got it from IdleGear.co.uk the kit is individual squares available in lots of colors,
and it cost about $75 delivered (47 UKPounds)
It is easy to install on a solid roof, mine has a sunroof which was more involved,
it took about 2-1/2 hours to install due to trimming around the sunroof & came out fantastic!

Other suppliers I know about are CarVogue.co.uk; and CooperFlags.com (US)

Good luck!

Are you guys checker tops only? I haven't decided if I am going check top but the sides are done. You can see it in my sig.

And to answer ZAMIRZ... Yes, They do make white checkers for the black top. Cooper flags and others do just that.

This is a club for FANATICS of the checkerboard pattern. I'll say having 3 items qualifies you, (just making it up...)

I got roof and door sills, but have the bonett stripes on order.

Bonnet, Roof and Boot do count as 3 in my book.

Those side ones look nice...

>>Nice checkerboard sides! Your custom pattern or is it available? Colors? Yep! I have a version of what ProMINI has. Try Grafik Dezine
for details. My design is the 011.
