An apology to Coopersport

i would like to take this moment to apologize to Coopersport for my earlier comment. As it turn out, i was wrong in the comment about getting scammed by them. The did have a computer malfunction that cause them to take my payment yet not process the order and have it show up as not filled. They are a legit company and again i am sorry. I do still stand by comment on the rather slow origional customer service but they are working on making amends to that as well. I still have not recieved anything from them but again, i will admit that they are legit and it was a series of unfortunate circumstances that caused the long delay between accepting payment and shipping a product out. No recomendations as of yet but you would not be wrong in giving them a chance, it would be just be wise to make contact with customer service before ordering.

You know, that is really nice, I wish some of the customers at the store that I work at would acknowledge that they freaked out a bit over something that really was an accident, or something unavoidable.

It takes a big person to be able to do that. Great post.

I applaud you for being big enough to publicly apologize. It is nice to see some civility return back to NAM for once.

Pat on the back

It takes a big person to admit to being wrong, thanks for putting it out there for everyone Andrew. We've all been in situations where it is so easy to jump to conclusions, I know I have had the spotlight on me in the past and had to swallow my pride. Good to know there are others out there that have the kahunas to do the same.

There are great folks at Coopersport, they are one of the cornerstone MINI vendors. A reputation is extremely important to maintain; motor on!

I admit, when I saw the original thread and post, I was like, sheesh. Talk about jumping the gun.

But, nice way to take responsibility and not just pretend it never happened.

I'm not ignoring it ...simply have no idea what you are talking about, so can't comment.

Andrew, thanks for being a stand-up guy.

Dean.

I saw the post, but thought the comment was in a way fanning the flames a bit. I figured when someone takes responsibility and attempts to make amends it shouldn't be thrown back in their face. This may not be how you meant it; but it just seemed that way.

Just seemed a bit sarcastic when a "thanks for setting the record straight" would have sufficed.

+1... It seemed rather rude to me. If there was any joke I sure didn't catch it...

I don't understand why everyone is applauding you...you should have NEVER made the original threads...you don't go crying to the internet when you think you've been "scammed" before you even get ahold of the company unless you are 100% positive it was legit...YOU FAIL!

I think you missed the point here. Andrew made it a point to come back and apologize; something many who were wrong fail to do when they realize they made the mistake. We aren't applauding his original post (which andrew realizes he should have never made) but the fact he faced the music and owned up to his error.

I think this post is done.

it takes a big person to admit they were wrong and a small one not to accept that.

okay we all get it...you're a "big person"...you know how to apologize

just next time you order something and think you got scammed...don't drink a huge glass of fail before you post a thread about it

they were not kidding...u do wine a lot. if this upsets you this much, stop reading it. I guess in your opinion i should do what the vast majority of people do and never try to own up to my mistakes. My suggestion to you is to stop comming back to this thread as it clearly upsets you and i would not want to cause you any more heartache. Lastly if you look at what i did as "a huge glass of fail" ( wow what are we here like 6? ) then that is something you will have to learn to deal with. As far as i am concerned i have done my part. Scammed...no, Thinking of ordering again from them...no.

Geez! The guy is trying to make amends for an error in judgement. Why don't you show a little graciousness and just accept his apology instead of trying to rub his nose in it. Who made you NAM disciplinarian? Get over yourself.
