What a tool. It's a good thing his girlfriend has better taste than he does.
I'm not sure where he gets his basis for calling it a deathtrap. We've all seen horrific crashes with MINIs where the owners are more pissed about losing their cars (and thankful that the car gave up its life for the owner's) than about most anything else. Try THAT, <insert blogcritic's car make here>.

We're all entitled to state our tastes. Just don't belittle us (the MINI community) for deciding for ourselves.

Word.

Yeah and when he says the chase scene was boring due to the MINIS!!!!! What the hell is he talking about?? Did he have his eyes closed during the scene? I suppose if they were civics, like in 2 Rice 2 Ridiculous..it woulda been a great chase scene.

That guy sounds like he is pissed at his girlfriend, not the car. I'll bet he's never driven one before.

I'm sure the guy is just beefin' because he has to tool around in a clapped-out '72 Maverick with three corroded Cragar SSs, one steelie with no hubcap and a set of foot-long leaf spring shackles (and it still sits too gol-danged low in the back even with them air shocks pumped up).

Not to worry....it looks like no one else was impressed enough with this review to bother replying to it...only 2 comments made on June 13th! The man obviously needs to be strapped down in the passenger seat of a MINI and taught a quick lesson in excitement. That'll change his opinion about the car real quick!

With his journalism skills... I think I'd be piz'd at the world too.

I've read children's books with more direction than that.

Heres what gets me. BMW / NA gives MCO a hard time about this site but can't do anything about some redneck bozo bashing the MINI.Calling it a "deathtrap". Someone needs to take this guy for a ride in this "chick car" and see if he joins the pukers club. I think we all need his e mail address, his cell number, and his home number.

Three comments now, pardon my language and the shortness of the post.

Exactly! Well said.

The best part, - knowing Smacks like this brainiac are not other MINI drivers. They can keep their rice & eat it too...

Sorry, there's been way too many good...and even great...reviews on TIJ for me to care what this bloke has to say. Same for MINIs!

But the final paragraph of his story said it was great entertainment. I just didn't like his comparing the MINI to Toro grassmowers in the chase scene.

Oh man I could hardly read the guy, he was so all over the place! MightyMini sure trounced him.

Beware of people who write with a ton of ellipses - the constant ... between every sentence. Every person I've known who did that had severe issues that made them very insecure, and/or adult attention deficit disorder.

It was pathetic, thanks for posting the link.

Let us all remember it is a BLOG. Which means any maroon with a computer can write one. Proving again, the value of the internet....
