I think that L.Mini is online 24/7 at MCO. SHe's so MINI crazy. I guess if you think of it she has to sleep, eat, go to work, and drive her car. So much for my 24/7 theory. Maybe she has a laptop and wireless and eats sleeps and works out of her lovely MINI.

So does anyone else think "it seems-someone else is always on MCO"?

 

NUH UH!!!! :smile: Occasionally I will pop on for a bit if TJ is sleeping and I am bored...but otherwise...I'm only here Monday-Friday....between 8:30 and 5pm.

But yeah....I am completely MINI crazy.

 

I was thinking that too about her. When does she get to drive her Mini :smile:

Sadly, my mini is in the shop (for 3 weeks now). So for three weeks I hve lived here at MCO. I need a life too :smile:

Same here, I'm on at work mostly, but I hop on for a very short time (I promise ) in the evenings.

I think the same could be said for MightyMiniZ! He seems to be in every thread I read! Where he finds the time to post as much as he does, AND do all that great artwork, is beyond me!!

BTW, when I read the title to this thread I thought it was going to be a bout BMWNA monitoring the board!!

I think I feel you getting a spurt of energy now- good for maybe 300 or 400 consecutive posts. Watch out. 4000 is near (nearer than you think).

 

I'm typically on starting 5:30pm at home got to work, log on again at 7:30pm at the hospital through 8:30am, then I go home, log on and stay 'til 10am. recently this site as I've seen has gotten a lot of visitors, normally only the hawaii guys are up at the wee hours (pacific standard) and there are no more that 8-9 members 4 visitors. but recently, up to 56 visitors. at 4:30am (pacific) are they reporters? are they Beemer execs? are they MINI execs? are they REALLY strange 30somethings dressed only in they're underwear? lurking?

Which ones, the 12 members or the 151 guests?
The simple answer is "time zones". Yes they exist so half the earth is roughly dark and other half- is not dark. So half the earth can log on to MCO at any given time and not even have to wake up to do it.

So as a futile exercise in time zone management. It is now 5:48pm in Scotland while my fellow islanders back home are barely waking up at 6:50am or in some cases barely going to sleep after being up all night posting or reading MCO threads- you know who you are-don't deny it.

And how do I do it. Simple. I use 3 to 5 computers simultaneously linked together on a local area network all on MCO. Sorta like air traffic control for MCO- unofficial of course as I have no authority to do anything but fall asleep on the floor in front of the TV set which happens the majority of the time-just ask my family.

Now that explains alot of things!

 

Actually, I would nominate Minihune. He's always on when I get on at like 5 am eastern time (hey, I have little kids, so sleep is forbidden) ...and then he's there posting all day long. I'd assumed that this was because he was posting from Hawaii where it was yesterday tomorrow (or some such wacky trick of timezones)....but I'm now beginning to think it's because he just doesn't sleep. Then again, if I remember how he started his MCO fame it was with a series of posts about coffee, so perhaps...

 

Hey I just got an idea.
What if all these guests are people that visit and still have MCO open in their browsers but they get so "bored" that they fall asleep with their computers on and that's why there are so many of them.

Mark can we get any more data on these guests? Like average length of log on or something really juicy? Can we spy on them and collect data? Can we take over the world? Just a thought. And it's not even late and I'm not yet delerious.
