Hope mine looks like that at 125k.

do you have clear bra? My front paint already doesn't look as good as yours -- and I only have 28k

Is that a baked potato under there? I've heard of G.I.s back in the day cooking cans of beans under the hood of the Jeep, but this is new.

Anyway, your car looks sharp; none the worse for wear.

I've been using it a lot lately to drop off and pick up my two little kids at the babysitter. One is 2 years old and the other one is 7 months. I guess my back is starting to complain
I won't sell it though. It's a lot of fun to drive and still gets a lot of looks from other people

Can you give us a quick summary of any problems or repairs so far?

Thanks

Great question. I'd be interested to hear that as well. That way I can somewhat plan on long-term ownership. I do similar thing w/ my BMW, keep on top of parts that need to be replaced so that I don't have to worry about it leaving me stranded (never did).

Thanks guys! I am a neat freakkk when it comes to taking care of cars!! I love my Cooper to death even if it has not been problem free! I am on my third tranny, third clutch, second flywheel, second powersteering pump, second steering rack, second set of front control arm bushings (I changed to powerflex), second radiator, the to name the main problems. But after all of the problems fixed, the car is still going VERY strong with a very very solid Tritec motor (love this little motor!) and a sturdy interior. The fact that I got the car the second year it came out means that it had bugs, but over the years MINI's have gotten better and better! It's just the way it is sometimes!

Great looking car, I really like those wheels! NOT enthused that you are on your third transmission! I am socking money away right now because I know/assume I will eventually need one in my car. Did all 3 of the clutches wear out, or did you just have them done along with the tranny replacements since the tranny was already out?
