When I finally got th MiniUSA site to work on my computer I configured my car, it's BRG metallic. It looks good but so do the others, especially my other choices of red and yellow. Also, red and yellow are no cost options. Is metallic worth $400. I'm going to drive myself nuts............OK, more nuts.

i saw a picture of a blue cooper with aero kit and i said that is exactly what i want. then i went to dealership and was not impressed with blue at all. they had no S's so the wheels were bad and it just didn't look good. i saw the red and was like "wow that is a hot color" and that was it. you should decide while looking at the cars for yourself. and yes i questioned my decision but at no time did i change my mind and i am completely happy with it and so will you no matter what you choose.

Color is a very personal thing. The being said, I originally had ordered BRG/W. Then the SoCal MINI Club had a weekend drive that ended up in the little town I live near with about 40 MINI’s of most every color combo. There was a brand new CR/W MCS with white S lites that I thought was the sharpest looking of the bunch. I called my salesman the next day and changed my order.

When I put down my deposit, I ordered a chili red/white Cooper. This was last August. I was told that the car would be ordered in October, and I could expect to see it in December or January. I went to the dealership (Boston) in early September to change two things on my order:

1) Ditch the auto A/C in favor of the manual dials, despite the fact that I wanted everything else in the premium package (sunroof, sport seats, cruise/MFSW). I'm not sure that I will ever forgive Herb Chambers Boston dealership for this not happening, except that:

2) I also wanted to switch my roof/mirrors color to black.

As it turned out, my car had already been ordered, which made me upset and excited at the same time - apropos since this was my first new car buying experience [/b]

I originally always wanted red with a white roof, but my good buddy kept telling me about the blue. Then I saw a MCS with Blue and white, loved it. So I was set on the Blue. Now I could not be happier. So no, I did not regret my decision of which color to go with, but they all look so good, I don't think you can go wrong. Like said earlier, it all comes down to personal taste. When you close your eyes...what color do you see on your Mini, that is what I would go with...what looks best in your minds eye.

cheers

Yep. Went to look at my new MCS (Dark Grey, black roof) at my dealer today. Sitting next to it was a blue MCS with white roof and white bonnet stripes. Otherwise the cars were identical and I swear I like the blue better. My wife, on the other hand, thinks the Grey looks more sophisticated and mature and therefore better in the long run. Who knows.

I also hate the space cloth rear seats. The front seats are exactly as I anticipated. The rear seats are a huge expanse of grey. Blech! Mini has to do something about how unappealing the back seats look on all of these cars!

Oh well, off to search the web to find out what memory options I can have programmed for my delivery on Monday afternoon.

OH YEAH! Originally ordered DS/BLK and chaged it to Red/White before the car was built. SOOOO happy I did. Love my Red MCS.
