So how many of you leave notes on other people's MINIs?

Or, more to the point, who left this one?

??

I tried the local club message board, but no luck there... If it was someone here, thanks for the note, but lemme know who it was!!

I don't think it's a creepy note, just a little mysterious.

I'm sure you'll find out who the author is soon.

>> Obviously a woman's writing

My guess, is that it looks more similar to a man's handwriting. (The "B" and "o" look very masculine)

It's a right-hander (Notice the "y". The bottom stroke of it is rather long and it would be unnatural for a lefty to return the finishing stroke back towards the hand that long.)

You will find the initial thumbprint over "Hi". (Notice it is rather flat in that area, the paper was torn from a corner, the tear at that end is rather straight and the paper is not wrinkled.

The person continued to move his grip as he tore the paper. (The tear would have feathered if he left his grip over "Hi".)

That's a HUGE note! It's the size of the whole bonnet. Unless it's an optical illusion, someone really made you you won't miss it! LOL

...and the writer walks with a pronounced limp as a result of an assagai spear wound suffered while battling Zulus in Her Majesty's service. Elementary, my dear Watson.

On second thought, it looks like Mrs. Peacock's handwriting if you ask me. . . .

Someday you'll hear who it was! or you'll see that handwriting! again. Just keep your eye out for how they made their letters, like that capitol B. I know that you'll figure it out!

Funny thing is they knew it was you, not another MINI with the same color combo.

I've left one note and it started with "are you BumbleBee?" it said how nice their car looked and ended with my real name. all I had with me at the time to write on was a business card so they have my name, office address and phone number too.

I left feeling that even if they weren't BumbleBee, they'd not be freaked out by the note.

HARMINI: It's been almost a whole week, and the note leaver is still mum... hummm...

Ryephile: " Obviously a woman's writing, so you may have some MINI-lovin' in your future"

I hope not... I don't think my wife would be too happy with the idea.. (esp. since she was driving it that day...

Phobol: Silly... I took the pic on some MINI stuff I had laying around.. I thought it would look better than my cluttered desk...

Pebbles: Not really... I do have custom plates, Speed Racer plate holders, Speed Racer Bumper Sticker, See-Thru British Flag decal on the windscreen, and a Union Jack flying from my antenna.. so it would still stand out in a croud of CR/W MCSs.. heh heh...

But still, the mystery continues...

(Nice job on remembering the underscore though... kudos...)
