Oh yea, that is the most noticeable thing first, the steering is REALLY REALLY sensistive, light is the word to define it, and thats not even in sport mode

But yes that is the way i thought about it, its not faster then modded r53's but my r53 wasnt that fast either, just faster then stock, and the drive from Boston to NYC last night was so nice (cept for new england drivers )

enjoy the new car! My biggest issue with the new minis is the suspension. other than that I think they are great. it is nothing a good suspension set cant fix though. happy motoring!

That's funny, I am driving a customer's car overnight tonight (09 MCS 6 speed) and the FIRST thing I noticed was the suspension, and steering. Jesus these things are loose - I would kill myself driving it like I drive my 03. Bridge expansion joints damn near tossed me over a lane - too soft, too fluffy. Gross. Fast though - I like the smooth delivery of power and the notable BMW derived sound and feel. Supercharger whine is 100 times better though....

I'll stick with my dinosaur - I drive enough of the new ones for work anyways.
