My windows started squeaking when I roll them up and down,, the sunroof is fine.. any ideas on how to fix this before I take it to a dealer.. not really much of a problem, its just annoying.

 

My driver's side window also started squealing recently, very annoying. I saw a thread, either on here or miniw, about this before I got the problem, so I didn't pay that close attention to it. I remember someone saying to give the window a push with the door open and that should fix it. I need to find the thread, and if I do, I'll post the link.

 

Try this thread (window bounce) or this one on salt film on windows. It seems to be a common problem with some MINIs (incl. mine) where there's something streaking on the windows that causes streaking and sometimes interferes with opening/closing. If you're able, check with your dealer.
