Hey Eaton!

What're you using the rear wiper for anyway? Save yourself the 3 pounds and get that thing out of there! LOL Seriously though, the rear wiper was never that good. That said, if you're insistent on replacing the whole blade, I have one in my almost-never-ending stash of MINI parts.

Cheers,
Ryan

Hmm, I just remembered we have different years. I wonder if my older [cooler] style will work on your new [cost reduced] style? You'll have to come over when it's over 6F out and we'll try it out!

I use my rear wiper blade about as much as I use the windshield wipers. As much gunk that gets on the boot, I would hate to drive this car without the rear wiper.

Dealer will replace the front and rear wiper inserts for free as part of your scheduled maintenace (if still covered)

ive never ever seen a full replacement for the rear wipers other than dealer

and i agree with everyone, the rear gets dirty much quicker than the front! especially for those in the snow belt, and for those who probably seen in total about 200 billion feet of snow this year

couldn't you just go to realoem find the part number and then order through pelican parts online? this is the wiper area for my 2003 R50. i like pelican and their prices are fair and service is great.

A couple of weeks ago I went to the my dealer (Prestige in northern NJ) and I had the option of either buying just the blade or the "snap in" assembly. Blade was ~ $3.50 and the assembly was ~$13.00. After removing (fumbling with) the original blade its two metal pieces pieces I decided spending the extra cash for ease of install was well worth it.

You can get a later model rear wiper and then just replace the blade when needed.

The streaking is probably from road gunk. Take an aggresive glass cleaner to it and see if that helps. I replace my rear wiper each year with a regular wiper refill cut to size now.
