I just got my MCS last Saturday and it is even more fun to own that I imagined!! Blasting around town all go-cart style is so fun...its amazing how quick this things get up to speed (and a bit faster than speed). It's by no means like the driving on a cloud illusion that you might have with a bigger really refined car, but these things are deceptively fast, and really, really build your driving confidence to the point where you are just sitting there saying...ok, now I know I am a pretty good driver, but this is just unfair to have this much handling/control over the car...it's awesome. I just gotta keep careful with speed limits, which I have been pretty good about not breaking to badly...lol..

By the way, anybody interested in the Chicago area, Patrick Mini out in Schaumburg is where i got mine, and everybody I talked to there was really cool....even the financing people! Who would have thought it....anyway, Jen was my sales lady, and she is awesome...though second to the car...lol.

Totally awesome car, and I am really pleased to finally have it!! YAY!!

By the way, the first day I was blastin about, I came up on a yellow MINI with black bonnet stripes, and rally lights. I am not sure whos that was but it was on the 94 between old orchard and dempster. If you are reading this, my neice says that she thought yours was awesome, and so do I! I was the guy that cruised up to you in the electric blue S with all the white wheels, caps and top.

Sorry to be so long winded...just got through blasting home from work for a lunch break, and still on a bit of a motoring rush.

Welcome to the tribe. Time to fire that psychoanalyst and invest the savings in aftermarket "go fast" parts for the MCS. First aftermarket mod. a radar/laser detector.
