Guys/Gals what would you think about white/white mini s 04 with the UK Flag on top..........Do you think it will go well together..OR just get white/black no flag but I've read here it is real hard to keep the Blck roof in good condition..ie Swirl marks, Keeping clean etc..Would l;ove to hear from all the Professionals on this board as to what their input is..Thanks and Cheers to all !!....Should be getting delivery in Oct 04..Now i jusr need to choose the right color....

 

I, personally, think the PW/B is the way i'd go. Looks more unique to my eye. Also, I have the black roof and have no problem at all with smearing/swirling. I just get the Turtlewax spray and my roof glistens in the sun like no other. I guess i'm biased b/c I have a black roof with a lighter color (PS), but the Union Jack might look OK.

 

I think the white top with the flag would be sweetest!

Did you talk to a dealer? What interior colors are there? Can you get red? I am interested in a white MCS as well.

Red isn't a likely interior choice for the MCS for '04. This, as of now, is only a no- cost option for the MC (it's red kaledo-cloth). I'm not saying it's impossible, but what's slated for the ominous '04 year is only the addition of Beige leather to the MCS (w/ black leather accents). If it is cloth you are looking for, the space cloth is grey and black and very nice (MCS only).

 

Pepper White / Pepper White with Lapis Blue and the Union Jack. That would be sweet.

 

Cooptime is correct..It called that Cardoba beige or something like that......Still would love more input on white/white with UK flag........Saw the black/white with white stripes which looks sweet but i know the problems I;d have with black car so white it is but need to decide on best combo color..Regards

I like the Lapis with the union jack because of the blue of the flag carrying over to the interior. To me, I think that looks more integrated than having beige. Plus, I don't particularly care for the beige door casings. If it was the beige carpet and seats only (like the lapis is) then maybe, but for pepper white with the union jack, I'd get Lapis (if they allow that color combination).

i completely agree! i'd totally go for it! but you might want to look into an aftermarket place like cooper flags... the stock mini uk flag looks kinda dull to me.. either that or get it painted like gbmini!

 

PW/PW with a St. George's cross (Red on White cross of England) and two red stripes on the bonnet = One wicked MCS.

 

Yeah, I'll second that motion. The aftermarket flags look better AND go all the way to the edge of the roof, unlike the MINI flags that leave about a 3 in border that is left uncovered.

 

Isn't the white in the flag actually the roof? I know it is with my US Flag. I'm not sure how the Union Jack would look with pepper white in it. Might look good, I'm just not sure.

 

The beauty of a pepper white roof is that you could do sections of colored red and blue vinyl for each part of the flag. Then the pepper white would be the white of the flag.
