My MINI sits out in the hot sun, in front of the dealership all day. Even with the tints I would get in my car and it would be 100 degrees!! I was afraid everything in my car would fry. Then I realized with the tints and the sunscreen on the sunroof, my problem was the windshield. So I bought it, and used it.....WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The whole car is nice and dark inside now and must be at least 20 degrees cooler. Thanks MINI sunshade! :smile:

From your dealer's parts department. Think it was like $40.

 

I got a sun shade and cut it in half. It fits perfectly between the sunroof glass and the slide out shade. One sun shade fits both front and back. It works great on hot sunny days.

I got a pair of reflective silver/black fabric and spring steel shades that work beautifully. The best part is that they twist up and store perfectly in the mesh pocket behind the seat.

 

I have the MINI sunshade, I like it! Hey Ant, I'm near Princeton MINI, any ideas on getting a checkered flag sunscreen for my sunroof? Where to buy, installation, etc.
