The circumstances around the photo:

My corporate safety director sent the photo to me. Apparently a drivers education student hit the gas instead of the brakes and panic ensued along with several thousands of dollars of damage. The photo credit goes to a personal friend of my Safety manager who was sightseeing in southern Indiana near French Lick last weekend. The photo is real, the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

YIKES!!!! Awh I feel bad for that poor student. They will probably never want to drive again!

They shouldn't let driver's ed students drive SUVs...too DANGEROUS!

 

That's what happens when you confuse the pedals. A lady in my neighborhood did something similar one day...she jumped a curb, went down a hill, across a street, and right into the living room of an apartment. No one was hurt, but the effects of pedal mistaken-identity always wind up being a bit surreal.

 

I bet the cop in the picture is writing him a parking ticket.

 

LOL!! Look at the name of the deli (or whatever) on the background... I think it sais "Just Off the Road"
