R50/53 Painting parking sensors

Painting parking sensors

anyone know if parking sensors can be completely painted and still function properly? thanks.

Yes,

i use to work for a company that manufactured these o.e.m and aftermarket. the parking sensors can be painted and still function properly, as long as you paint them right and don't cake the paint on they will work as they suppose to.

The parking sensors are painted from the factory. I have also tested the function of the parking sensors with electrical tape placed over them, and they work fine even with factory paint and electrical tape.
