When my cars starts to move, there is some strange sound coming from the floor or by the pedals. I just read somewhere that there could be a problem with the clutch but I don't know. The sounds been around for a week or so. I didn't think much of it, but should I call the dealership and let them check it out?

 

I have that problem before..a squeak sound coming from underneath on going on 1st gear..only happened when the engine is cold/in the morning.

i brought it to dealer and overnight my MINI so they can check while the engine is cold.

they ended up replaced my Transmission, Clutch, and flywheel under warranty. They said MINI transmission is bullet proof but maybe mine is not...

so maybe you should check yours before your warranty ends. good luck.

Yea I called up the dealership this morning to make an appointment. If they can diagnose a problem then I will probably get it fixed. Good thing my warranty doesn't expire until December if there is a problem.
