Got my MCS today! Sad thing is, all I wanted to do is go home and take a nap. I'd only slept about 6 hours in the last 2 days!

About taste, everbody has their own. Hey some people even bought the Pontiac Aztec!

It ws raining the day I picked up mine. What a bummer to have one of the five rain days we have here in PHX coincide with my pickup

Yes, it was raining when I picked up mine as well! We've had tons of rain this past month and a half! But the MCS felt really good, even during a torrential downpour. My old 92 Acura Integra with almost 180,000 miles must need suspension work because it doesn't even feel that good on dry roads anymore. Been that way for about a year, tires are good.

I expect good encounters when driving my MCS!

My daughters and all of their friends LOVE Mini Coopers. Of course, they are only 3 and 5 yrs old now but its clear that the youngest generation has good taste in cars. Not to worry, the opinions of kids who are teenagers right now will soon be passe, and will be supplanted by my daughters' contemporaries. From what I've seen so far, they are serious MINI enthusiasts!

The fact that people said it was an old persons car suprises me , I usually hear of it being a "chick car" i dont see how in any way a mini is for an older person, small and fun, usually the older crowd likes the big and sloooooow

Let's all just be honest here. It really is a car that's designed for old people. From the exlax dispensers to the automatic prune juicers. It's just an old person type of car!

Hey, don't you know that my first drive after bringing the car home, I'm passing a playground where some junior high or high school kids are hanging out. A guy shouts "hey, a MINI!" Some girl says "lose the car, loser!" I admit, it hurt a little bit, but only for a few seconds.

All my friends and family love it, I was out showing it off today. And a tolltaker complimented me on it and asked how it handles.

The fact is they draw alot of attention, which is more than can be said for most cars out there. People notice you in a MINI!

No matter what car someone buys, there are going to be people that think it's ugly. That can't be avoided. I bet the general consensus, however, is positive as far as the MINIs looks go. It's too simple a shape to be considered offensive. The lines are as straightforward as can be, to the point where many probably think why other car designers haven't thought of it before.
