Black Steel Wheels on a Cooper S? :sly:

Try as I may, I cannot find just the basic, black, steel wheels that I want to put on my MINI Cooper S for winter tires! This is what I'm looking for and it seems they do not exist at any of hte websites I've looked at so far:

Does anyone know if there is a company that makes this type of wheel in a size that will fit on the Cooper S?

For something that's such a generic look, I'm amazed I can't find it more easily!

I'm also looking at putting Blizzaks on it. I like that style of winter tire and I'm thinking it will do well on my Cooper as they have in the past on my Honda Civic.

Thanks for the help!
-Andy

What size are you looking for? I'd be very surprised if places like tirerack.com didn't have any of these steelies.

I have read that 15" Honda Civic wheels will bolt right on.

Yes indeed, '02-'03 15inch civic rims fit right on. I can't recall which year...but they are the same I think. Get silver lug bolts too, it makes a sweet look.
*note, my car has 5mm spacers, but there was no major fitment issue before them. It's a handling thing*

Awesome. Thanks guys. I didn't see the small link at the bottom of TireRack that has the Steel option! There they are for $44 each!!!

I can get a set of the steelies and Blizzaks for each wheel totaling 50 less than Blizzaks for my 17 inch wheels! Wahoo!!!

-Andy

Edit:

I didn't see that SayGoodbye had an '04 Cooper in there.... I have an 'O6 and TireRack does not show Steelies as an option. Will they still fit on there? Did MINI change anything about the wheel well/axel mount area which would not allow the same size of 15" Steelies to fit?

Thanks,
-Andy

I was kind of hoping for a 15x7 in steel - they are 16x6.5,

Wahhooooo! I'm in roughly the Feb. build date area...maybe as late as March...but certainly not after 07/12!

Thanks for the help guys! I think I'll pay a visit to BigO tomorrow and see what kind of pricing they can give me on the Blizzak/Steelies combo.
