I'm thinking of putting a bra on my PW/B MC. Not a clear coat bra but a real bra. I have not seen one on a MC in real life. Can anyone post pictures of theirs and if possible where they got it and price. Thanks.

P.S. I'm starting to think all Mini's new bras to protect them from the little nicks.

Send a PM to nobull60 (Bruce) he has the best fitting one I've seen. It is essential that you get one that fits perfect to minimize paint abrasion.

the backside of a bra will vibrate against the paint and with the help of dust will cut it's way through the clearcoat and dull the paint, especially at the stress points-edges and curves. It is a trade off.

Here you go, its not Pepper White but enough contrast on the Pure Silver so yo get an idea how it looks.

Not true. I bought a 2 piece bra for our '02 Cooper CVT from http://www.MINIMANIA.com. The bra is made by a company out in California called "Colgan Custom" http://www.colgancustom.com and this is the absolute highest quality car bra money can buy in the market, period. It features laser etched construction, ultra soft backing to prevent clearcoat/paint damage, porous bra surface to avoid water retention, plastic coated hooks etc. State of the art and it looks fantastic in our Pepper White/Black Cooper. The fit is sensational (Like a glove) and there is no slack or looseness whatsoever.

Paid for the bra about $100 plus shipping and handling. Colgan also sells bras for the exterior rearview mirror caps. I bought a pair for $29.95 plus shipping and handling. made of the same exact materials as the main front bra.

If you buy a bra for the MINI make sure it is made by Colgan Custom. Avoid cheap imitation such as the crappy "Le Bras" (Also known as "Le craps&quot.

They also sell one with carbon fiber looks and finish for about $10 more than the regular vinyl car bra.

MINIMANIA offers the following combos:

Regular Cooper with license plate opening
Regular Cooper W/O license plate opening
Cooper S with license plate opening
Cooper S W/O license plate opening.

Also if you don't like or want to cover the front bumper you can buy the upper bonnet piece standalone.

Haven't had any problems with it and works wonders. Far cheaper than the clear bra solutions. I am personally not yet convinced by the durability, price and looks of the more expensive clear bras.

Good luck!
