Window Dip Issue

Last week, opened the door to my car to head home from work. Window dropped down an inch as it always does, but after entering the car & closing the door, I noted that the window didn't fully raise back up, staying in the dipped position. I then fully lowered & then raised the window. Then re-opened & closed the door & everything worked OK.
No problems for a week until last night. Drove to an app't. with both windows down. Upon arrival I raised both windows, opened the drivers door, window dips down but doesn't go back up upon closing. Performed the same "fix" as the week before & everything OK. Decided to investigate further & discovered that I can re-create the problem if I upon raising the windows, I don't hold the window buttons up for an extra second. I'm guessing that while the window may be fully raised, the holding of the window button for an extra momenet is required to fully engage the door open/close window dip process.
Thoughts anyone?

You can try resetting the window dip.

- Close the doors
- Close both windows
- Hold both switches for the power windows up for a few seconds

This should reset the 'dipping' motion.

also i noticed that if your window is not up all the way, even 1 milimeter!, the window will lower an extra amount and not go back up.

EDIT: Also, page 32 of the 2006 Owner's Manual.

Mine randomly do that at times. Well it looks random. It might be that the windows are open a tiny bit. I duno. I sometimes doubt that. They are a bit annoying yet fun. Just like the lock/door pull. that is fun with people in the car. I look at them odd and say, what's wrong? they pull again, say, Huh, and I smile.

I've noticed that mine is a bit touchy at times. Sometimes if you just hold the button on the key just a millisecond too long, the windows will just pop open a bit and don't close when you shut the door. Took me a couple of days to figure out this problem.
