Seriously, I know violence isn't the answer, but sometimes people like that just need a good old fashioned *** kicking to put them in their damn place. It is pretty damn cool if you have a grip of cash, and if you like to flaunt it...I have no problem with that...but if you think that because you got cash, or because you park something somewhere that you are better than anybody else in this world, you should have your *** kicked, and I will more than happily lend a foot!!

I speculate that in MadMike's case, BMW stands for "Broke My Weenie" and that's why he is know as MadMike.

His posts are a classic case of "I have money; therefore, I am superior in all aspects" attitude. It is clear that in his case money doesnt mean class. For this type, when reality doesn't fit his image they distort reality so they can still feel important.

I can't help but wonder how many things he buys just to prove (to himself) that he is superior (most others see through the ruse). The fact that MINIs are so popular irks the poor sod, so he has to try to tear down MINIs and thier owners to make himself feel superior. What a pathetic piece of work he must be.

When you are in your MINI and pull next to a BMW, look at them with your natural ear to ear grin. The MadMike type of BMW owners will be tormented to no end by seeing so many happy MINI owners.

 

As others have pointed out, I'm baffled by how self-important he is talking about parking a 91 M3 in a luxury garage in Manhattan. He is probably paying over $300 a month for that space...must be an incredible specimen.

I also don't get comments on it being a feminine car...almost every MINI I've seen looks cool and sporty. A pink Mary Kay cosmetics Cadillac is feminine, but I've seen some real "tough" looking MINI's. Maybe the name freaks these guys out. I know I've had a guy in an M roadster give me the thumbs up and tell me how me he liked these cars. I guess Madmike can't believe the MINI is getting such good press (and parking spaces)

If I was looking at a BMW and went to that site and read that I would be inclined to consider the type of people that buy and support BMW cars before I made a purchase. I have heard a lot of bad stories from bus drivers about BMW drivers. I guess not many have bothered to enjoy the pleasures of driving school.

I could have bought a nice BMW when I was looking for a new car. I choose MINI instead and feel like it was a good choice. The staff at the dealership and other owners seem friendly and we are small in numbers.

I don't need others telling me that my car is this or that. I know what I have. Also I would say there are many others that are very positive towards MINIs so to each his own. Live Aloha.

good observation....but take a look at the threads on MCO and see if any of them make comments about BMW's and their drivers like certain members of the BMW Board do.

 

Did you read his profile? It says he is a personal trainer. If you are a personal trainer by trade, what the hell would you be doing with two degrees in science and a masters? Maybe he has his masters in P.E.

I don´t care if people think my car is for girls. Actually I probably get more comments from women about how much they love my car than any BMW owner.

That gives me an opportunity to meet more women (and take them for a ride )

Whoever says this is a gay car doesn´t know anything about its heritage. A Monte Carlo rally winner is far from being a wimpsy car.

Minis are for passionate people (men, women, straigth, gay or whatever "tag" you want to put to all of us). We got our cars because we love it and fully enjoy driving it, not for bragging with the neighboors about who has the most expensive car.

 

It seems as well that alot of the folks over there don't understand that the MINI is not overpriced. I mean, hell...there aren't alot of companies that offer a brand new car with a supercharger for 20K. It just shows how little they actually know.

OK lets not group all BMW owners into this! I have both a BMW and a MINI, I love them both. I find myself driving my MINI over my BMW on a daily basis. As a matter of fact I gave my wife my BMW and kept the MINI for myself!
