Can anyone tell me all of the stock colors that the 2002 cooper was available in? I have looked online but can't find any info. I only wonder because my mini is a color that I haven't seen on a mini before but it looks like stock paint. IDK.
Any info would help.

My mini is almost a mint green btw.

 

That would be Silk Green. Classy color

From my copy of the 2002 brochure:

Jet Black, Chili Red, Liquid Yellow, Cosmos Black, Dark Silver, Pure Silver, British Racing Green, Silk Green, Electric Blue, and Indi Blue.

Wait a minute. What year was Velvet Red introduced? The brochure I got the list from doesn't have the year listed but I'm pretty sure it's a 2002. I got it at the NY autoshow when the MINI was displayed at the lobby and not on the regular show floor.

Its cool....I found some pics of silk green mini's and its a match so it must be 2002. I just needed a name to search under to find it.

 

Just a thought however....why don't silk green owners have a badge? Is it that rare to see or has it just not been done....it makes me sad. =(

 

I would think sometime on '02. It was discontinued in the summer of '03. I don't recall if my '03 brochure (basically an '02 brochure) showed Velvet Red or not, and it's not handy.

Silk Green is my number TWO favorite MINI color... very unique!

Maybe it will make a comeback for my next one, but it had a very short "life" first time around...
