I am 5'11" and weigh 218 lbs. I fit in my MCS just fine. My seat is 3/4 of the way back but it's cranked down all the way. My wife is 5' tall and all she does is crank the seat all the way to drive. I can fit all three of my kids in the car to take them to school with no issues. To go out as a fam... we use the truck. People that sit in the back... who cares, they are in for a ride. No one said they had to be comfortable! I know I am!

I have a hard time believing this one. I live in Dallas and I am an avid Mavericks season ticket owner. I follow the team news, including player info, and I've yet to spot anything regarding Dirk driving a Mini. I'll look into it, but I seriously doubt there's any validity to this, especially Shaq! Even the Mini website suggests that 7 footers would have a problem, although these guys certainly have the means to have as many mods done as required.

I agree, this looks legit, but I suspect a deal has been struck between the two German entities, Dirk & BMW! Oh well, it's something else I can use to ward off all the detractors when they hear I have bought a Mini at 6' 3". Most people that I tell I'm getting one just smile, stopping short of laughing. I chalk it up to ignorance, and I don't mean that in a bad way. If you haven't read up on them or better yet, driven one, you just simply don't know.

Good work umberto!

Six foot four. There's more room than I need.

My friend is 6'6 and maybe 210 lbs and he fits the MINI just fine. Last night he got a little knock on the head after I went over a speed bump to fast.

He usually fits just fine in the MINI. It just means that no one can sit behind him. And he's driven the MINI before and has absolutely no problems.

5'11" is not tall but I have a long torso and often have trouble with headroom ...not in our mini though!

Hmmm...shouldn't have bumped his head if he was in the front with the seat adjusted all the way down. Was it? Just curious.

I feel so short at 5'9" compared to everyone else @ 6 feet and above.

For example for you Gromit, I never would've guessed you were that tall. Especially since you've had MG's over the years, it must've been interesting for everyone's faces when you got out of it.

Back to the topic, I have plenty of room and just a couple weeks ago I was able to fit my brother, two friends and me into the MINI and only one person was under 6 feet tall. Thing is though because I'm shorter, I can have the seat go up more until I feel as tall as Michael Jordon. Maybe instead I should just cut the roof down so the MINI is not as tall to begin with.
