6'9" when I stand on my wallet, otherwise 5'7" and plenty of leg room. It does become critical, however if the seat doesn't move forward-which hasn't happened yet.

my boyfriend is 6'4" and alllll legs. there is absolutely no room for passengers behind his seat... in fact i only had a passenger once and he is also about 6'2" and sat behind me while i was driving. a little difficult for him to get out but we all fit.

mini's although they look small can fit all sizes!

I'm 6'1" - plenty of room for me, and I do have the sunroof. As others have noted, there's plenty of room for even taller people, too. A tall driver is most likely going to render the driver's side rear seat useless for passengers. If your gf drives and you're in the passenger's front seat, you'll have ridiculous amounts or room to play with.

And just for information's sake, if the front seat is moved forward a bit, I can sit quite comfortably in the rear seat, too. I've had two average sized adults (6'1"-ish and 5'8"-ish) riding with me in the passenger's side front and rear seats, and they were both very comfy.

Oh, something to note: On the '07 coupes, the steering wheel telescopes, which the earlier cars (and the '07 convertible) don't have. Gives a bit more adjustability to the driver.

I'm 6'2 and I fit great into a MINI. In fact, MINI was the only small car I fit well into. One thing to look out for is the ability to see the traffic light when you pull up. That can be a problem. I often have to lean forward quite a bit to see the traffic light above me.

Good point. Here in CA, most of the time there is also a traffic light on the corner, as well as on the overhanging arm. The corner light is always lower.

Yeah, I have the occasional problem with not seeing lights in my car too.

But like Gromit said, the corner lights usually are still in view, so it works out.

Traffic lights? What are these lights you speak of? MINIs in stealth mode have no use for traffic lights. Just kidding of course...but there are tools to help with traffic lights.

As mentioned, http://www.lightinsight.com/. One of the best mods you can get. Easily adds 5-25 HP on it's own. Also increases your gas mileage by at least 64.923%. Or maybe I'm just pulling those numbers out of places that shouldn't have numbers pulled out of in the first place...

Seriously, though, the Light in Sight is great.

You know those red, green and yellow shooting stars that go whizzing over and past your MINI as you drive? Turns out they have something to do with traffic control. Who knew??

That's an unfounded rumor... In reality, those are UFOs.

Do those have anything to do with those "Speed enforced by aircraft" signs I see occasionally?

I'm 5'7", of course I fit well. My coworker is about 6'3" and 290lbs. He also has plenty of room. An often left out measure is width. The MINI cabin is wide enough for big folks.

It is... but wide or narrow, you're going to be sitting close to your neighbor.

BUT! For a tall person, they're in the way our normal line of sight! What might be up and out of the way for you short people, is right in our way.

If you are talking about the lightinsight, it's like 2" wide and fits up at the very top of the windshield.

And if you've got graphics up there?

No, best bet is to ignore the lights completely, and tell the judge that the placement of the traffic lights discriminates against tall people!

Move it to the left, or behind your mirror. Believe it or not, it is useful there. You will only need it when you stopped at a light, first in line.

6'7" ... no problem.

its actually more spacious than a 3 Series ... due to the 3's dash and center console layout.

leg/knee room for the right leg is the main issue in most cars for me, and I would think most other tall buggers

That's the only area where my car feels cramped. The '07s have fixed that, though, with the redesigned center stack and the telescoping wheel.

Yeah, my knee is mostly always resting against my center console and part of the dash that comes down in my 3. I guess I'm just used to it now.
