to make a long story short,
there is only one other cooper in my area,
brand new, exact same color and wheels, etc. as mine.
when my wife and i saw this car, we both
went crazy! my wife immediately said to me,
"time to get those wheels you've been wanting"!!!!
we can't have a carbon copy of our car in the hood!
do any of you have a copy cat mini in your hood?

I've got the only BRG/W I have seen in Birmingham AL.

Great way to get the significant other to allow a major purchase! Congrats!!!!

Theres a BRG/W MC in my hood with the same leather interior but theirs has aftermarket wheels and mine has the v-spokes. Mine also has an intake and exhaust so it sounds a lot better, and is faster

I don't have to worry about a look alike HARMINI Not too many SG/B MCs running around with clear lights, tints, shorty antenna, and HARMINI plates. After next week, lowered and riding on SSR Comps, she'll really be one of a kind.

I have one that is a different color but has alot of the mods I have. Even went as far as getting the same windshield decal as me!!! I took mine off the next day and will make an original design like my roof decal. I am flattered that people like my MINI so much but to copy really upsets me. Good Subject. Hope people read this and take notes. Be original, do you own thing !!!!

There is a guy in a neighboring town with a DS/B w/cloth like me, but he doesn't have any packages and is on the stock 16" rims. At the local club meet, my car stood out like a sore thumb as I was the only one there lowered with aftermarket rims.

I was suprised to see another double Dark Silver MCS in my area. There's not a whole lot of MINIs around here at all in the first place. But when I saw this one, it kinda shocked me. A few of my buds saw it before I ever did, and thought it was me. I still get strange people waving hello at me. I know they probably think I'm the other guy. It's the exact same color on the body and roof, interior, stock wheel type, and all. Except now I have Konig wheels and Yoko tires, and some decals. So either someone else had the same idea as me, or they saw mine and copied it.
Cheers,

I got my Red/White Cooper last August, and parked it on the top floor of the parking garage at work so I could see it from my window..
Turns out a guy on the floor above me ordered almost the exact same car (except different interior color and bonnet stripes) , and his was due to arrive 3 weeks after I got mine.. I imagine he was a bit suprised to see "his" car looking out at him

Believe it or not, as common as you would think that a Chili Red Mini with all the white bits, there seems to be very few CR MINI's in my kneck of the woods, and I do believe i'm the only one with the white stripes on the front...

Thats unusual for Pepper Whites...they are few an far between, usually... he must have been admiring yours from afar.
I know everyone who sees my Pepper really can't believe how gorgeous a color it is in person. but admit they wouldn't not have ordered it from the color samples in the showroom like I did.

I am proud to say that I currently have the only VR/W MC that I have seen in SoCal...I've seen VR/VR and VR/B, but not another VR/W...hopefully it stays that way for a bit...

There are TONS of Indi Blue/White here in the Detroit area, it's kinda embarrasing having so many of the same config. Many people at MINI-meets ask if there are any other colors available!

It was ironic, however, at Deal's Gap. I was one of two Indi Blue's I saw the whole weekend! A scalding 1.7% of the color demographic!

In Hawaii there are 440 minis sold so far. I'm sure some are pretty close in appearance. If you read the MINI Motorn Handbook you are supposed to take liberties at customizing your MINI any way you like. This ensures that they are kept unique. Change anything and everything or do some special mods of your own.

New wheels and tail light mods are easy ways to spice up your MINI. Have fun. You don't go around twice in life but if you are lucky you will be to buy a MINI more than once!
