Who has the most miles on their MINI?

I have had my '04 MC for 8 months now and have put 35K on it. Total miles currently...61K and zero maintenance problems. I love the car and use it for business travel. Yes, I travel light. I am just wondering who has the most miles and if they have encountered any major issues.

Thanks!

'06 JCW owned since 1/06 and I've got over 46K on it already. No problems so far but I'm hoping it outlives its payments!

03 MCS

I have 67K miles on my MCS and it's had lots of maintenance, TSB work done, recalls, etc, and I have a pulley on it now. I figure if I keep up the maintenance, I'll keep it past 100K.

Currently, the passenger door lock broke, and I have to open the door with the key. The locks and windows are the first to go. Peace.

Try this thread. dpilgrim, a friend of mine was the first to take his MCS over 100K back 1n 2004 and MINIUSA gave him a plaque and grill badge.

Ooooo. I want one of those. It reminds me of what Volvo used to do. I have seen the 100K/200K Volvo badges several times.

Maybe I can be the first to hit 300K with mine. I figured by the time it is paid off, I will have just about that many miles.

Should I ask what kind of problems, or should I just leave the question alone?

Oops, guess I shouldn't type in the morning . Basically NO problems.

couple of early recalls (coolant tank, and rear suspension bolt)
Other costs:
then general maintenance - tyres, brakes, oil etc.
of course adding mods - wheels, pulley, DFIC, CAI, OCC, rear sway, rear control arms, strut brace, coilovers (going on Friday)

Still on original supercharger, reduction pulley on for over 109000 miles now.
I have a new one waiting in the garage to go on when this one fails.

Volvo still does that - badges for 100K, 200K and 300K. You just have to request it - and there's a nominal charge.

And, for Irv Gordon, they made up special badges for him when he hit 1 million and 2 million miles in his Volvo 1800...

I've only got 102K on my 03 MCS - would really like a 100K badge from MINIUSA - but I'm hoping someone will take up their slack and make a magnetic badge...

That would be nice. Doesn't seem like it would be hard for some of the current companies to design them. I like the idea.

106K on my 04MCS. Radiator, power steering fan, engine mount, battery, lotsa tires and brakes, oh yeah, lets not forget the clutch. If you are getting on in miles, replacing the clutch slave cylinder could save you a great deal of money. It was reccommded to me, I did not do it, and I paid the price later.

Wow - my car hit 100K without any of the common problems that I read about in the forums. I still have the original clutch and Windshield - although that will change soon as the windshield has a stress crack and several chips now. I've also only done brakes once, around 60K. Of course, I do have the same sunroof rattles that most of these cars have...
