Careful with scammers....

I don't know if this is the right place to post this... if its not please tell me so, so I can delete this... Here it goes:

A few days ago I posted here asking for advice for the purchase of a mini cooper. As always for every need there is a scammer.... but instead of just ignoring him I replied back, asking for info, pics, etc... it has been 44 emails since then.. and he is starting to get very very mad . I would like to share the thread with you, so ppl know how a scammer opperates... where can i upload the pdf? or a txt file....

Well, if it is definitely Mini related, it might go in the General Mini thread. If not, then maybe Off Topic.

HE is getting very mad??? 'Cause you won't go for his scam? What nerve. I for one think it might be entertaining reading.

Why would you let it go on for 44 emails? Hopefully you're only holding on for the entertainment factor.
Should be interesting to see what you have there. I love playing with scammers. I like to send them out for specific photos, such as them with the title in hand, them in the drivers seat, etc.. I also start signing my emails with Sincerely, ******. Amazing how they just keep on going.

My scammer (as refering to a pet hahaha) started to get angry when he didnt see a payment... I even replied.. "My transfer is as real as your car" he still didnt get it.... Why 44 emails? Why not? I Type fast :-D and it ends kind of funny.. so it was a good laugh for everyone here at the office....

This link is for an interesting way that someone got the upperhand against a scammer:

It was rather interesting that in one of the photos that was shown, there was a sign with the outline Texas, which usually indicates a state inspection location here in TX.

Very good read.

I'm suspicious. I'm afraid someone will get my personal information. I'm sticking with supermarket discount cards!

Ran a check on ebay-vehicle.com and it is registered to Joker.com.

Send him a link to this...

http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whoi...om&type=domain

and then tell him that you are going to report him to the US Government authorities for fraud which means that he will lose any clearance that he has.

Obviously, not a very bright scammer. Why would a personally owned vehicle be parked at a dealer, without plates, and with the dealer's paper mat in the photo. Not that that was the only problem, but even an idiot mught get suspicious about that.
