R50/53 Poor, unloved little Mini.
Poor, unloved little Mini.
So.
I'm tooling up the road from my house a month or so ago, and what do I see, but an '03 MCS in a Pontiac dealer's used car section!
This is a nice looking car, black with a white hat, 6 speed, 17" wheels, 40,000 moles on the clock, for $15K.
I figure this car won't last long there.
Sure enough, after a couple of days, the spot it was in was empty.
"Great", I says. Somebody new in the neighborhood to play with.
A few days later, it's back....
After a week, it was gone again, and now it's back.
How can someone buy one of these loveable little critters, and not hang onto it?
If I only had a little extra money lying around, I'd buy it as a playmate for Emily.

Or it might been a victem of the Original Owners divorce. MIB is that same way. We had it for 20K happy miles and then she sprang the D-word. Now poor MIB sits neglected untill the judge says who gets it. By that time the Factory warrenty will be gone. Sadder yet, might go back to the bank as this divorce is looking at costing over tens of thousands of dollars. All over a car loan and a wallmart credit card.
