40,000 miles & going strong!

Just passed my 40,000 mark and wanted to report my '05 Cooper has made this past 40,000 the best driving miles I've ever had!

Motor on.

These posts bring a smile to my face

When I exited LilTiger this morning, she was on 11,779. I hope the two of us enjoy tens of thousands of more miles of problem-free motoring bliss.

New Classics Rule!

Glad to hear fellow motorers are having the same experience.

Squirlz, I better extend my road trips this year before you double me!

(Can't think of a better way to begin or end a workday either.)

You gotta own one to understand.

Mine has 70K+ on the odo and is going strong, too! She is modded and runs like a little rocket! Love her more than ever.

I put 14,800 on the odo of my 2002 Cooper between August 28, 2002 and April 4, 2003, when I took delivery of my 2003 MCS, Wicked Wanda.

Yes, I do, it gets driven far less though. It currently has about 88,000 Kilometers. But it is also haveing some issues at the moment (as most classics do ) The front end is wearing out, and need to be re-built, and it needs a valve adjustment again. It did make it to AMVIV (and back) again this year.

Not me, its my crazy wife

We had to tow it most of the way thru Death Valley the first year. I got it running better this time (We only had a month before the first attempt) and made it there and back without any problems
