A mouse in the MINI?

So.
I'm tooling around the local countryside, enjoying a glorious day with the temps in the low 70's (I love spring-time in New England!), sunroof open, windows down, the Brandenburg concertos in the CD player, and I hear this sqeak/clink/chirp sound coming from the right-front of the car when I hit bumps. I turn down the stereo, and start aiming for bumps in the road. Sure enough, every time I hit a bump, there's this squeak/chirp/clink emanating from the right front.
The car is an '02 MCS that just turned 25,000 miles. I'm thinking a strut bushing. Has anyone encountered something like this? Is it common? Easily fixed? Or should I turn up the volume?
Thankee,
Hegira

And make sure nothing is in the door slots that may cause a squeek... I've had some strange sounds come from them - depending on what's there.

springs will eventually squeak. 25K seems early for oem springs. aftermarket springs will often squeak out of the box.

Those "bumps" your aiming for are squirrels -- stop hitting them, and the squealing will stop
