xsmini that was funny - I actually reread the 1st post again. :banghead: for not getting the "hit the unlock button" solution... Now, if'n you're OUTside the car and it's LOCKED... call OnStar, have them unlock your Escalade, get the spare set of keys out of THAT...

 

I actually sort of have this problem right now. My boot hande went bad and it will not open, it's going in Friday to get fixed (they had to order a new handle and have it painted so it's been about a month). The emergency release under the seats doesn't work. I just do what other people have suggested and pull up the rear tray, jam my arm back there and pull on one the seat releases, it's not too difficult.

 

I answered the question as if the battery was dead or unhooked because I really hope no one would be stumped by this otherwise lol:

 

But nobody has answered the cell phone battery is dead, you're at the store, you go take your goods put them in the boot, with your keys shut the boot, put the carriage away, return go to get in the drivers seat uh-oh no key!

And you bought it used so you own no spare!

What do you do.......
