I got a left over- new 06 MCS yesturday and wanted the dealer literature to go along with it. The dealer only had 07 material.

 

Try eBay. My sister found one for my new 06 MC and gave it to me as a birthday present!

 

I think I actually do have one, the package that came with the car that black box, i know i have that. I'll look for the brochure its around here somwhere

 

I'm aware of TWO booklets for the '06. The actual sales booklet which is about 3/8 of an inch thick and The MINI "You-ification Workbook" which shows the majority of the factory accessories that were available in '06.

 

I didn't get the black box with mine-just the owners manual stuff. I was thinking that something else should have been included-like the motoring signs but not this time.

If you are talking about the accessories catalog, MINI has made two versions of it for 2007... both an R56-centric one and a 1st-Gen-centric one. I have both at home.

I imagine that MINI will do the same next year - if only to continue to support the R52 convertibles.

 

I was actually refering to the sales brochure, I think it would be cool to have one so when I'm 80 and thinking back to the great car I owned I can pull out the brochure to relive the memories. Too sappy??

 

Not sappy, just good planning. I try to get one for every car I get, even the appliance Honda's. :D

I received my "black box" from MINI through the mail about 6 weeks after I purchased my car. I quess they wanted to make sure the check would clear before they sent me all of that top secret stuff.
