OEM parts website?

There's a crack in my right turnsignal.

I found some knock off replacment parts websites, but is there a website that sells oem parts (is there a major difference between the two?)? I only want the best for my baby.

The replacement part website:

This should work:
http://www.motorwerksbmw.com/Parts-Catalog.aspx

I copied it from a post after I searched for wipers blades.

I had to replace one of those

btw - I too cracked one of those and I expected the worst when I called the dealer and asked "how much"

I was shocked when as I recall it was under $50 and they had it on the shelf ....

Doesn't hurt to ask ..... in my opinion it wasn't worth digging on the web cuz any cost savings would be eaten by shipping charges.

Best prices I've seen for OEM parts are from Classic Mini in Ohio. They're a NAM vendor. Tell them you are also a NAM member for a discount.

I had a similar experience. I had a broken side marker and called the dealer for a replacement and it was under $15 for for the unit. My dealer not only gave me a discount for being a customer but even mailed it to me no charge since I live about 100 miles from the dealership. As they say, it don't hurt to ask.

Might want to consider this as part of your warranty... These lights seem to have a history of cracking.. In fact my dealer replaced both of mine with a newer and better unit... Seems this was happening on early '06 models, and maybe 05 as well.. Stress cracks that develop after a while. FWIW.
